A Land governance Think Tank anchored within The University of Nairobi, Faculty of Law, which aims to inform equitable, evidence-based land governance through academic scholarship, policy engagement, and capacity-building. By fostering dialogue between researchers, policymakers, and local communities, we strive to address the challenges facing land governance. These include the persistent contestations over public, private, and community land tenure systems, ambiguities in institutional mandates between the National Land Commission (NLC), counties, and the national government, and the complexities arising from devolution and overlapping administrative jurisdictions.
Our work seeks to generate solutions that promote transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in Kenya’s land sector
